Alps; S. part - in the Lombard lowland. It is located on
vye. 65 m, pl. 370 km2, glub. to 346 m. Basin g. - tektonich. the cavity, processed by Pleistocene
end glaciers. Northern, narrow and long part resembles fjord
with vye. of its framing ridges to 2000 m; south - wider, is folded by morainal deposits. In the
North the end of the lake falls r. of sarka, from S. end escapes r.
mincho (lion inflow r. po). Navigation. Health resorts
