in Morocco. Extent ok. 700 km (from the cape Geer to Atlantich. ok. to the E.
boundaries of the country). Zap. Part V. A. - preim. the
limestone plateaus, which surround center, massif from granites and
schists of vys. 3-4 thousand. m (g. of tubkal', 4165 m). To v. the heights sharply are reduced (to 1500 m). E. Part V. A. - short marl-
limestone ridges, broken by discharges and isolated from each other by
depressions. In the North -zap. the windward moist slopes of
mountains to vys. 1500 m of forest from the evergreen rigidly-sheetolive and horn
trees, the oleander with the admixture of thuya, to 1800 m - from Kam oak, to 3000 m - brushwood of junipers, are above -
the ostepnennye meadows; on the drier S. and E. slopes -
brushwood of berberskoy "thuya" (sandarac) and juniper.
