(Halas) Frantisek (3.10.1901, Brno, -27.10.1949, Prague), Czech Poet. Kind.
in the family of Communist worker. It participated in
the youth Communist, later antifash. the motion of intelligentsia.
In the sb -kax "sepia" (1927), "the rooster frightens death" (1930) it was reflected the tragic
perception of life, the motives of endlessness and death.
Turning to the civil problems was outlined in the collection it
was verse "wide" (1936).
In antifash. sb. the "trunk of hope" (1938) is expressed the will of Czech
people to the resistance. In 1940 published the cycle of
patriotich. it was verse "our of pani Of vozhena Of nemtsova", it
wrote verses for the the illegal of kommunistich. of the newspaper
"Rude Pravo". The victory above the fascism is reflected in the
sb -kax "barricade" (1945),
"in the system" (1948).
