(Galega), goat's rue, the kind of perennial
plants seven of bean. It is known for 4 (6) view of Yu. and
YU.- v. of Europe, also, to front Asia, and also in the eastern.
To Africa. In THE USSR 2 forms. G. eastern (G
orientalis) with the vivid- dark-blue flowers, the suspended beans and
the pointed leaflets of neparnoperistykh leaves grows in the Caucasus
on the forest edges and the clearings. Valuable plant, which
gives early abundant fodder. G. medicinal (G officinalis) is
characterized by light blue flowers, neponikayushchimi beans, dull
leaflets; it is encountered in the Caucasus, in Moldavia, on
Yu. of the Ukraine and in Belorussia; there are forms,
poisonous for the cattle.
