group Of liparskikh o-vov -vov, in tyrrhenian m., in 20 km to s. from Sicily. It belongs
To Italy. Dl. ok. 8 km, latitude ok. 6 km, pl. 21,2 km2. It is the apex of
the underwater volcano, which consists of 3 cones. Altitudes to
499 m. Volcano is located in the
stage of fumarole. On v. is
named one of the types of vulkanich. of the eruptions (see volcanoes).
