Gaudi-and- cornet (Gaudi in Cornet) of Antonio
(26.6.1852, Reus, near Tarragony, 10.6.1926, Barcelona), Spanish
architect. It lived in Barcelona from 1868, learned in the
highest tech. school of architecture. In the whimsical on the
forms buildings g. (mainly in Barcelona) - in the church Of sagrada
surname (1884-1926), where is rethought in the mystical spirit the
composition of gotich. of cathedral, and in the houses of style modern(Kasa Of batlb, 1905-07;
Kasa is dear, 1905-10) - the boldly bent volumes and design
innovations (parabolich. of arch, inclined supports, the lightened
arches) create the effect of fantastich., as if molded by hand,
