Goudsmit

(Goudsmit) Semyuel To abrakham (p. 11.7.1902, Hague), American physicist. It learned in the Leyden and Amsterdam universities. From 1927 it taught in the Michigan university (in 1932-46 Prof.). In 1941-44 it worked in The massachusetsskeye tech. institute. In 1946-48 Prof. of the university Of nortuestern. From 1948 it works in the national laboratory in Brookhaven. In 1925 contemporary. with J. of Yu. By Uhlenbeck it arrived at the idea about electron spin .
