Gaumata

Lzhebardiya (g. of rozhd. of unknown -29.9.522 to n. 3.), Indian magician (priest), that raised on 11 March 522 to n. 3. uprising against Persian, tsar kambis. After giving out itself for Bardiyu (Smerdisa) - brother kambisa, secretly killed by the latter, g. were affirmed on the throne and, attempting to draw the countries conquered by Persians for its side, freed they for 3 years from the taxes and the duties. It perished by hand of the conspirators, in the chapter of whom it stood Dariy I.
