1. 1940, there), Polish actress, director, theatrical
worker and teacher. Stsenich. the activity of beginning into
1895 in Petersburg, then played in Lyubline, Warsaw, Poznani, Krakow.
In 1911-20 veins in Kiev, into 1916 it organized here
experimental theater "studio", where the principles of the system k
were developed. S. Stanislavski1. In 1920, after returning
to Warsaw, it opened studio, with 1921 led dramatich. the department
of Warsaw conservatory. In the beginning of artistich. of
activity v. it fulfilled lyrical comic roles, subsequently -
dramatich. and tragedy. Stsenich. means v. were
characterized by majesty, by the dignity of external figure resisted
psevdoromantich. theater, effektnosti, affectations of modernism.
V. played in the works of the Polish romantics: pani Of
rollison ("Dzya-dy" Of mitskevicha), Lucretia chenchi and Ball linden
("To beatriche Of chenchi", "balladina" of slovakian), Muza and mother
("release", To "proklyat'e" Of vyspyan'skogo), etc. The number
of best works v. includes also the roles in the plays of antich. of
the authors: Klitemnestra ("Oresteya" Of eskhila), Fedra
("Ippolit" Yevripida). V. came out in the prod. of contemporary.
by it dramatists (G. Ibsen, M. Gor'kiy, A. p. Chekhov et al.).
In the producer work v. it approached the combination of all
components of stsenich. initial- VA and for the deep disclosure of the
ideological essence of dramaturgich. prod..
