-31.12.1873, Paris), Polish politich. worker, General. A
participant in Polish uprising 1830- of 1831, after the defeat of
which it lived in the emigration. There was the member of the
Polish of demokratich. of society. It battled in numbers of the
Hung. of revolutionary army against the gabsburgskikh troops into
1848-49, heading the legion, formed from the Pole- volunteers.
During the Polish uprising 1863-64 v. he was some time leader
Voyen. of commission in Krakow. After the defeat of uprising it
emigrated to France.
