Georgiy Nikolayevich [ 7(19). 2. 1865, s. of nikitovka of the Chernigov of lips, -6.4. 1940, Kharkov ], Soviet soil scientist, forester, botanist and physico- geographer, Acad.. VASKHNIL - ALL-UNION ACADEMY OF AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES IM. V. I. LENIN (1934) and AN of UkrcSsr - Ukrainian SSR (1939). It finished Petrovskiy agr. academy (1890). Was studied lesorastit. of the condition of Tula abatis, Buzulukskogo boron, By ergeney, Aleshkovskikh and Naryn it was sand. It investigated the influence of forest for the living environment and reason for the lack of forest of steppes, for the first time designed moisture balance under the forest and the field.
